Our Centre consists of 3 floors with a total area of 460 sq.m.
Our premises serve the needs of all special therapies. The programs of the speech therapy, psychotherapy and special learning departments are carried out in small rooms so that the maximum performance of the child and the cooperation with the therapist is achieved, while the programs of the physical and occupational therapy departments are carried out in larger rooms so that space is available for all psychomotor and sensory activities.
To get to know better the our team of therapists, you can visit our dedicated page.
The evaluations are carried out in a separate and private room in the presence of the parents, jointly completing a full history and administering appropriate age and request-based assessment tools or tests. The child psychiatric examination is also carried out in the same room, and for any clarification parents can easily come to contact with our Centre or consult our Frequently Asked Questions page. Questions.
The physiotherapy department consists of a large single room which is divided into two sections. The central and larger area is equipped with mattresses, rollers, balls, mirrors, monoblocs, special gait training equipment, multi-blocs, planks, balance stands and beams, sensory toys, tilting, etc. In one smaller section an occupational therapist can be active in parallel for co-therapy and the second section can be used for early intervention of high-risk infants.
There are 3 autonomous speech therapy rooms which can communicate with each other for the purpose of socialization of the children.
The special education classroom is set up so that the children have the simulation of a classroom with a blackboard, but with fewer stimuli to help them be more organised and focused.
The 2 offices of the psychologists quickly attract the attention of young children as they have toys for all ages and their decoration corresponds to the calm and warm mood required during the psychotherapeutic process. They are also located in more secluded places in order to maintain therapeutic confidentiality.
The occupational therapy department, which is the largest department, has a sensory integration room, in which the necessary suspended equipment is used, such as swings, hammocks, lycra and balloon fabrics, climbing structures, trampolines, mattresses and therapeutic balls. It also has training areas for activities of daily living, such as toilets for toilet training, hand, tooth and face washing, showers and a small kitchen for learning to prepare small meals.
In addition, there are two small areas where seating, cognitive and literacy activities are carried out.
Finally, there is a large and comfortable reception hall, recently renovated with a special decoration that usually attracts our little friends and their parents.
