Μtremendous joy and excitement to welcomeκat our site, a group of students of the 3rd grade of Lyceum from the 1st daily EPAL Peristeri in the context of actions vocational orientation.
On the initiative of their teachers, Pericles Robolas and Angeliki Sambataki, thehe students had the opportunity to get to know our work, to talk to our experts and to learn more about our work. - speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and psychologists- for the their role in special education.
At the same time, we gave the opportunity to students to watch in person a part of individual treatments in children, with the consent of their parents, always with respect and discretion as to the patients and their families.
We talked about what it's like to work with children which present different needs and growth rates, the beauty and challenges of the profession and the values that inspire us: from empathy, from scientific knowledge, on cooperation and from meaningful relationship child-therapist-family.
The students asked excellent questions and showed genuine interest - which fills us with optimism for the new generation of professionals to come.
This visit was not just informative; it was a exchange of inspiration between the experience of experts and the vision of young people.
