For example when a 3 year old child is not talking it may be due to different diagnoses such as autism, specific language disorder or deafness. After the child has been evaluated primarily in our office, a written report is given to the doctor with all the necessary data and the difficulties we have identified and he in turn conducts the medical examination in the presence of the whole family. He asks questions, discusses the request with the parents, records the information needed and in a second time examines the child.<\/p><p>This is done through a dialogue but also through games, drawings, therapeutic material, aesthetic-motor or writing material. At the end it answers questions, gives parents a diagnosis and explains how the multidisciplinary team will need to intervene in a possible therapeutic programme.
